This December 6–8, the Newport Bay Club at Disneyland Paris will host the first-ever Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game European Championship, bringing together top players from across Europe for the season’s final competitive event. Adding to the magic, Mickey Mouse will make a special appearance for photos and autographs, and with him comes a new type of card with space meant for an autograph—a must-have for fans and collectors!

The Tournament Structure & High-Stakes Gameplay

The Disney Lorcana TCG European Championship will feature intense competition among the best players, all vying for a coveted spot in the World Championship at Walt Disney World (date to be announced). Players who finish in the Top 8 will qualify for this prestigious event.

  • Steve Warner: Co-Game Designer of Disney Lorcana TCG for Ravensburger with over 20 years of game design experience.

  • Etienne Bonin: Game Developer who plays a pivotal role in shaping the Disney Lorcana TCG gameplay and balance. 

  • Lukas Litzinger: Award-winning Game Designer and Senior Game Designer for Disney Lorcana, known for his passion for storytelling and collectible games.

We’re thrilled to announce two incredible guests who will join us for this exciting event.

Shane Hartley, Creative Director of Global Games at Ravensburger, will be stepping into the spotlight to meet fans, sign autographs, and share his creative insights. With over 20 years of experience in collectible gaming and consumer product design, Shane leads the creative vision for Disney Lorcana TCG, ensuring every detail embodies the magic and wonder of Disney.

Joining Shane is Tim Schilder, Game Development Manager at Ravensburger, plays a pivotal role in tuning the Disney Lorcana gameplay experience, working out of Germany in collaboration with the Seattle-based team. A lifelong Disney enthusiast, Tim’s passion for gaming and his meticulous attention to detail help the team bring the magic of Disney Lorcana's gameplay to life for players across the globe.

Both Shane and Tim will be meeting fellow Illumineers, signing autographs, and diving into games of Pack Rush, so don’t miss your chance to connect with these key creators behind the Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game.
