A daring comeback secured Ed’s victory in a thrilling finale
The Disney Lorcana North American Championship concluded with a spectacular finale, showcasing the strategic depth and excitement that make this trading card game so special. Edmond Chiu emerged victorious with his Ruby Amethyst deck, defeating Scott Markeson’s Ruby Sapphire deck in a thrilling finale.
The final game was a nail-biter. Despite facing a daunting 17 Lore deficit, Ed turned the tide with an incredible play: deploying three copies of "The Library – A Gift for Belle" onto the field. The strategic use of these cards allowed him to steadily close the gap and secure the championship.
In a twist of fate, Ed revealed that he had only added "The Library" to his deck the night before the tournament. He credited the last-minute decision to observing its effectiveness during play on Friday from other participants at Disneyland.
